Charity Full Moon Walks !
These Full Moon Walks are an excellent opportunity to see beautiful landscape by the light of the moon.The walks will be short 2-3 hr walks starting at 8pm in the evening during the Spring / Summer months.
You will visit some of the most scenic parts of Wicklow and Dublin, places such as Glendalough, Luggala, Djouce and many more. If you have never had the opportunity to do some night walking then don't miss this as it's an altogether different experience.
There are a choice of two Great walks for two Great Charitys on August 4th.
Full Moon walk Aug 4th - Glendalough in Aid of Threshold Cahrity
The Lughnasa Full Moon Walk for Threshold is an excellent opportunity to see beautiful landscape of Glendalough by the light of the moon, while raising much needed funds for the Threshold Charity
Full Moon Walk Aug 4th - Carlingford - BarnardosIf ever there was a place designed for the hill walker, Carlingford and the Cooley Peninsula must be it! With panoramic views over the Cooley Mountains, Dundalk Bay, the Mountains for Mourne, all under the light of the Full Moon, we're sure this is a 10km walk you'll never forget.
So join us on Saturday, August 4th for our Full Moon Walk followed by a relaxing BBQ with live music, it promises to be a great night for all!
What to bring for the walk.
- Walking boots
- Water
- Head torch or handheld.
- Warm top, gloves, hat.
- Waterproofs (just in case)
- Packed lunch, hot drink.
- Back pack with spare warm top and socks in.
