.
About the Walk: Maulin - Powercsourt Waterfall.
The walk will start from Crone Wood near Enniskerry. This will be a 2 - 3 hr walk around the very scenic area of Glencullen and along part of the the Wicklow way by the Powerscourt Waterfall. From this walk we have wonderful views along Ireland's east coast line and over Dublin bay. When we continue on the trail we drop down into Glencullen and along some forested track with plenty of wild deer and views across the south Wicklow mountains. There is a nice short cut along the trail for those of you who wish to take very easy - a guide will be with you at all times.
N.B. The walk may alter depending on the weather conditions but meet up time and place will be the same.
After the walk we normally head back to the Old Forge Pub in Enniskerry to catch up and enjoy a pint.
All the guides on theses walks are fully qualified and trained so you are in safe hands.
You will also be trained on the skills of night navigation, gain some knowledge of the stars and you could even experience a night time rainbow.
These walks are very popular so early booking is essential to confirm your place."Can I just say how very very much we enjoyed it! The guides historical commentary and good manners were simply a joy. The night was glorious, the setting sublime. We spotted a stag on our return to Glendalough hotel where we were greeted with lovely food . To round off an already lovely experience Sean our second guide sang and played his guitar. It was just a smashing experience." Martina.
