SwitzerlandThis is an excellent opportunity to enjoy walking in the Swiss Alps. The Swiss mountains are among the most dramatic and challenging of all the Alpine ranges, but you don’t have to be a skilled mountaineer or climber to enjoy an active holiday among them, for Switzerland contains some of Europe’s finest walking terrain, with enough variety to suit every taste.

The beautiful town of Schwyz in Switzerland celebrates St. Patrick’s day every year and really enjoys having Irish people over to help their celebrations to be even more authentic.

Or

A Walk about lake Lucern.

Unquestionably one of Europe's most charming cities, Lucerne also has the added virtue of stunning lakeside and mountain sceneries on its doorstep. Lucerne is ideally situated in the historic and scenic heart of what many believe to be the 'true' Switzerland - picture mountains, lakes, cowbells, alpine villages and meadows full of edelweiss. Once a simple fishermen's village, this charming town straddles the Reuss River on the western edge of Lake Lucerne and makes an excellent base for many excursions in Switzerland. One of the main attractions is crossing the Reuss River on the famous Chapel Bridge.

We will guide you round Lucerne and combine the travel with a great boat-trip and back to Schwyz by train.

Day 5 Sunday 21st : Today we will visit Zurich.

Today you will visit one of Europe's finest citys and even get time for a bit of shopping before we head for home and say goodbye to Switzerland.

You just have to be aware that in March there will be snow in the mountains. We have lovely winter walking tours on the snow you just need good footwear and warm clothes. Further possibilities are walks with snow-shoes or freaky sleigh-runs (good fun...).
So we would try to make your stay unforgettable."
